I pray these words bring encouragement to you.
For as long as I can remember, I have been captivated by words. If you ever wanted to find me, all you had to do was look for the girl with the pen, paper, and wildly unpredictable imagination.
At that age, fiction was kind of my fortress. I clicked a few buttons in the old noggin and let my dreams do the work. However, once I started getting older my purpose for writing took on a new level of real. It wasn’t just for fun anymore—it was for survival.
Among many hardships and heartbreaks, I was left feeling sad, confused, and discouraged. Writing became a safe haven to me.
But In the midst of it all, I found my one glimmer of hope in the darkness. That hope has a name, and His name is Jesus Christ. I wanted to start this blog to…
- Speak His name over every Battle I face
- Praise Him even when I do not feel like it
- Prove that time does not heal all wounds, Jesus does
- Show that the Lord has a purpose and plan for broken pieces
Writing was never meant to be just an escape for me. It was a gift that God gave me to bring glory to Him.
So this isn’t merely a collection of my letters, praises, lamentations, and randomly relevant thoughts…
It’s a portfolio of the Lord’s work in the life of someone who thought she was too damaged to be used.
